Get your self a manual.... and start checking your sensors. There are quite a few sensors that if they failed could cause problems. Mine did something similiar two weeks ago. It would run rough, start hard and have a bad hesitation from ldle to around 6000 rpm's. Found the problem after hours of checking, it was a bad fuel pump. The pump was running and was putting out fuel but it wasn't enough. The way I found it was my header was glowing red after idling for a few minutes. With the new pump everythings works now.
