There is no right answer to this question, but I can give some background info. ATV's have 10 deg of rake because of their small tires. Larger tires need less rake since they inherently roll over bumps better. Rake tends to induce more diving under braking then without. My buggy has 10 deg of rake and uses ATV tires, and I can't directly compare it to anything but it does work well although there is some brake dive. That said, if I were to design/build another buggy, I would probably still run some rake but less, maybe 5 deg.
