Default Re: new guy with a 07 R1 motor

Thanks Gene Ya I don't really have a field or a nice industrial area to test run this thing at. So I figured I didn't have much of a choice but run it on the street. It was early around 1 PM so most of everybody was at work and the kids were at school.
Besides, My neighbors pretty much new this day was coming. I'm the only house in our area that the garage is open every single day due to working on this.

So if you guys noticed in the video the rhino kept dying a lot. So I didn't go to Glamis this weekend . Instead I dropped it off at a motorcycle custom shop and they ran some test on the computer system.

OK, so they called me today and here's the problems with it. I had about 4 codes that were thrown but I couldn't tell this at home because it never gave me the numbers on the gauge. Only the eng. Check light would stay lite.
I have some bad sensors. So among the bad sensors are: Pressure Sensor, Neutral Switch Assembly, and another one but I can't remember what he called it. Also another reason the eng. light was on is because the EXUP valve is off. The shop that redid my wiring harness was suppose to fix that issue...but I guess not.
The shop told me that my throttle bodies "Might" be bad too.but he couldn't check it because of the next problem....................
Here's the big issue: When Todd made the new Throttle arm bracket on the Throttle body where the throttle cable hooks up to, Todd welded two of the brackets together and need to operate seperate. Looking at them you would never know because they look like they should both open and close at the same time. But because this 07 motor has the volocity stacks that move up and down it is different. When you turn the key on the TB stacks open and shut because the computer runs it through this cycle. During drive time the computer moves these slightly different through the electronic throttle sensors. This is why my motor kept shutting off at various times.
Not sure if this blew out the sensors or I did it when I fried the first ECU. Either way I ordered the new parts and I'll just have to wait until they come in.
