Default Reliable FNR gearbox for SAE app?

What is a reliable FNR gearbox that isn't too heavy but will stand up to the 10HP B&S engine on a 350-400 lb. buggy?

I've been trying to read as many of the FNR gearbox threads in the Driveline forum as I can and I've got a list of companies, but it seems that most of them are for higher HP buggies and they are gonna be too heavy and overbuilt (is there such a thing???) for the HP limitations of the SAE Baja series.

I think I am giving in and trashing the manual transmission that we used last year. . .it was a great idea and it wasn't expensive, but we were definitely down on top speed last year and there's no such thing as an older 2-stroke dirtbike with a 6-spd. tranny (not any that I have ever heard of anyway). . .and even if there was I don't know that one extra gear would make up the difference for us. . .part of the problem was probably our heavy buggy, but I think that it will be easier to fully enclose the engine bay to keep the CVT dry than it would be to find a centrifugal clutch and shift linkage that will function reliably for the transmission that we have. . .not to mention the lack of reverse. . .

. . .I still prefer a manual gearbox, but I think for the SAE competition and our budget that an CVT and FNR gearbox are gonna be the way to go.

Thanks for the help!!!
