Yeah, its kind of a weird tire. Being asymmetrical, you couldn't really mount them the other way because the tires still would not be symmetrical with respect to each other. There are a lot of skeptics out there in regards to the "equal traction in either direction"...I guess time will tell.

I do know goodyear does their homework when it comes to tire design. A large portion of the old MT/R was developed where I worked at, and they put a lot of time into that pattern.
