Re: wind power texas
I've always thought wind-power was a no brainer, but lately I've been reading about the downstream affects of removing all that energy from the air. The air slows down dramatically after going thru a windfarm and this causes stagnant air which leads to settling of polluted air, etc. My point is, there are environmental costs associated with windfarms that people don't expect. Those costs are likely to be less than pumping CO2 out of a smokestack, but they still exist.
I need to do more research into it. I can't wait for solar panels to come down in price to make them more economical.
