I put this in the litter box because it really contributes nothing of substance to the board.
So, last weekend, buddy of mine gets 110 fuel for his car that is tuned for 100. After his first refuel with the 110 he starts to complain about a lack of response and top end. As I am currently working on upgrading my pea brain to a walnut and may have hit filbert at this point, I, quick like that, flash back to a recent conversation on
MBN regarding octane. I explain in great detail to him my limited knowledge of the subject based on this board. You guessed it - I did not have to inhale to provide the complete depth of my knowledge.
As a direct result of the exchange of information on this board, and the folks who so freely share their knowledge, I am able to salvage his weekend. We drained the 110, cut it with 91 and got him close to 100. His car perked right up again. He had a good weekend as a result of YOU!
