Default Mini A Arm Buggy for Kids

Been talking about this every since we were working on the 9 car with Mike and John.
With the 9 car done and everyone taking a weekend or two off to relax we finally started working together today on the new mini buggy for kids.
The idea is to build a small two seat a arm mini motorcycle powered buggy
for the nieces and nephews to drive around in. Maybe a single seat version for adults to play with later after this one.
So we got started.

So far it was mostly a day of us putting stuff that we all had come up with on paper into an actual car.
Well we had several ideas and all 3 of us came up with 3 ideas so we had to finally come up with a little from everyone on one idea.
The final idea is a mini buggy for 2 kids small enough to fit in the front of a trailer under 8 feet so you can load it onto a trailer side was if you needed to and narrow enough to fit into the bed of a truck also.
We also needed it to be cost affective enough for kids but cool enough to run at Glamis and keep up with rhinos etc. More wheel travel than a rhino etc. but cost less when all said and done with full body, powder coat, fox shocks you know the good stuff.

So finally under way we came up with a floor pan for the mini A-arm
buggy that would hold two kids up to 5' 6" tall so far. Maybe bigger.
But that's 5' 6" tall with a helmet.
Able to carry a friend a long and keep up like I said so we are looking at the automatic style engines from motorcycles like the polaris or the Honda 250x so no clutch needed.
Well it may seem like not much but this took a lot of work to get to this point after working out all the details we are at the bathtub phase.

Here is the set up of the pan with the sloped front nose for the a arms and the double bent outer frame rails to keep the body clear of the fron a arm and tire.

Well a lot to go and a lot of work ahead of us but at least we are under way with what we hope to be a great looking, well working and mostly a very safe and fun little buggy for all the nieces and nephews to play in.

Any questions comments please feel free to ask.
Thanks for looking.
