Default Re: Budget mini in three weeks.

Thanks for the ego boost Tut, but what I am doing is nowhere near what you do. I have made good progress but as I went to take pics yesterday I realized the camera battery must've still been in the charger. But today is the day the beast will run (fingers crossed). I got the main cage finished yesterday, and I should get most of the bracing done today. I have a couple helpers today so maybe we will get it going. Just need to Run a couple fuel lines and fire her up.

I have a moment so here is some background. The kid (17 or 18) that started this project was the son of the groundskeeper at a local golf course. With not much to do in the winter, he spent his time stretching this thing about 1 1/2'. My guess is so he coud fit the motor HE HE. He mounted the motor and gathered everyone around to see his monster creation in all it's glory, and the darn thing only had reverse. He never checked which way the motor spun in relation to the diff. I guess he was pretty embarrassed and after kicking the thing for a while, had a little fun in it (in reverse), pulled the motor, and parked it. I was at the course, repairing the aluminum frame of another work cart when they offered it to me for free. So I hauled it away and a week and a half later here we are.

I have the battery so I will post pics after tonight with an update.
