its not the shock, its the j arm. Its just not ment to give a really smooth ride. It was cheap to build, and fairly heavy duty. I've seen guys do high mounts and fox airs in the rear. But anyone who goes through that trouble in the front, usually gets rid of the a-arm first.

Try it, maybe run some DS650 shocks or something like that, and see how they ride.
