You can get a thermocouple and put it in between the motor fins. I think summit has something that does that. That motor should be putting out 150 or so watts through the windings, so it shold be able to power a fan of 10 amps, but not with any lights. The 10 amp fan will draw about 140 watts, and the little extra will help to charge the battery after you start the engine.
